BBC One has cancelled Atlantis after two seasons. The broadcaster confirmed it will not move forward with a third season of the fantasy drama:
The final seven episodes of Atlantis will transmit on BBC One in spring. We would like to thank Urban Myth Films and all the cast and crew but the series will not be re-commissioned.
“We are very proud of both series but to keep increasing the range of BBC One drama we have to make difficult decisions to bring new shows through.”

The show was fine until the focus went to the new queen. She just can’t act! Brought the show down.

I think it’s a dumb idea to cancel this series that has a good story line too it.
Hunter says
I also think it is a stupid idea to cancel a good series because of new series that they want to show on their channel.

Hello,
I just signed the petition, “the British Broadcasting Corporation, Tony Hall, The Lord Hall of Birkenhead, Director General of the BBC: Reverse the BBC’s decision to cancel Atlantis.”
I think this is important. Will you sign it too?

Personally I thought this was worse than sinbad, shocking dialogue and poor acting. No excuse when the bbc can produce stuff like ripper street. It always reminded me of cbbc dramas but with acting similar to Stargate. I know it’s fantasy but when game of thrones can pull off this genre with such realism why bother?

Disappointing and the reason I have not watched BBC One since. Tired of networks not thinking about their viewers. Need to find a way to have networks removed from cable/satellite line ups. Channels shouldn’t
getting get paid contract amount when people are not satisfied and viewer ship declines because of it. I don’t want to pay for a channel I no longer watch.
